A Message To Our Patients

With guidance from the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, Ocean State Chiropractic and Sports Rehabilitation (OSC) is taking steps to make sure our facilities remain a safe place for everyone and to reduce the risk of exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

Anyone experiencing a fever or respiratory symptoms should NOT come to our office.

We ask that you contact your primary provider or the Florida Department of Health’s screening line at 352-629-0137. You will be counseled on whether, when and where to be evaluated.

Coronavirus Information for OSC Patients Scheduled for an Appointment or needing treatment

Please call our office before coming in for your appointment if you fit into any of the following categories:

  • You have a fever and/or symptoms of acute respiratory illness such as cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing

  • You have had contact in the last 14 days with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, is currently being tested, or has been placed on home quarantine by the department of health

Patients with a high suspicion of COVID-19 exposure will be asked to remain at home while we coordinate care with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH).

 

If you need immediate medical attention, please call 911.

Per the recent FDOH visitation restrictions, we ask that you limit the number of people who accompany you to an appointment.


Request a Telehealth Appointment

With OSC Telehhealth, patients are able to visit with Dr. LeRoux over the phone or via Facetime.

Visit with your chiropractor from the comfort of your own home.

With OSC Telehealth, patients are able to visit with their health care providers over the phone.

Remote Telephone Visits

To participate in a remote telephone visit, you will need to:

  1. Be a patient of OSC.

  2. Have an active landline or mobile phone number

  3. If you want to FaceTime, you will need an iPhone, iPad or other Apple computer.

How to prepare for your remote telephone visit:

  1. Before the call, make sure our office has the correct telephone information.

  2. At the time of the telephone appointment, OSC will call you.

  3. Be sure you are located in an area that is free of loud noises and is private.

  4. Please be available for 15-20 minutes make sure you can fully participate.

At the end of your call, your provider will document the call and provide you with instructions.
